Personal Trainer Laguna Hills Mistake #1 - Doing Endless Slow-Paced Cardio:  Most people believe that doing traditional slow-paced cardio is the best way to get lean.  WRONG!  In fact, doing endless cardio can actually hurt you, by burning up valuable calorie burning muscle.  Also, slow-paced cardio only boosts your metabolism for a few hours afterwards.

Lifting weights is far superiour to burning fat.  Why?  When you lift weights, you build muscle, which in turn, boosts your metabolic rate.  Also, weight resistance stimulates your growth hormone release, which burns up body fat and keeps you younger.
