El Cajon Gym Special
Report
Many Gyms and Health Clubs in El Cajon CA are
not all what they are cracked up to be. If you are looking
to join an gym or fitness center in El Cajon, odds are you are
hoping to lose weight, tone your body and get into shape,
right?
Here is the problem, not all gyms in El Cajon are effective
for you to actually be successful in losing weight and getting
into great shape. Sure, they will lure you in with great
deals, such as one-time low initiation fee and low monthly
dues. But, the reality is, all they want is your money
and they just want to keep charging you whether you show up to
their gym or not. They don't care. But, if your
card is denied, they will call you and or send you a letter to
make sure you provide a new credit card so they can keep on
charging you.
If you are really serious about getting into
shape then here are some things you need to look for before you
join any health club, fitness center, or gym in El
Cajon.
El Cajon Gym Tip #1: Make sure the
fitness center or health club is
clean
Too many gyms and fitness centers in El Cajon
are not clean, where they are full of harmful bacteria that can
actually get you sick. You don't want to work out at a
gym that is not cleaned on a daily basis, otherwise you find
yourself getting sick all too often.
El Cajon Gym Tip #2: Make sure the
gym trainers have valid
certifications
Too many of these El Cajon and San Diego Gyms have personal
trainers that are just trained at their corporate headquarters
for 5 days or so and they have them training clients the week
they get back. That is not a real trainer. Gyms
such as 24 Hour
Fitness and LA
Fitness are synonomous for this. They have the worst
and most inexperienced trainers out there. In fact, one
of our clients had a 24 Hour Fitness trainer once and the
trainer knew nothing about how to get into shape, plus he was
over-weight himself. Avoid these coporate gyms at all
costs.
El Cajon Gym Tip #3: Make sure the
fitness club is not over crowded
Many gyms and fitness centers in El Cajon
just jam pack their clubs with members with no quota in
mind. They don't care if there is not enough parking for
members or if members have to wait 30 minutes to get on some
cardio equipment. This is also very typical for the big
chain gyms, such as 24 Hour Fitness, Bally's, and LA
Fitness.
Trust me, the last thing you are going to
want to do is wait on equipment. It will only hurt your
chances of getting into killer shape and also staying
motivated.
El Cajon Gym Tip #4: Make sure
they health club has an easy opt out option with their
memberships
This is HUGE. Most of these El Cajon
and La Mesa gyms, like
24 Hour Fitness, have 1 to 2 year minimum contracts (much like
your cell phone service), where you have to pay an initial down
payment, then monthly dues for that particular time
period. If you read the fine print, most of the gyms
state that in order to cancel your gym membership early you
must pay a cancellation fee.
Plus, when you sign up, most gyms advertise a
one-time intitiation fee. But, what they fail to tell
you, is that after you start the sign up process, there is a
processing fee (you know a fee to process all the paperwork,
usually about $25), there is also a gym card fee, about
$10. All they are trying to do is gouge you every single
way they can.
If you are looking for a El Cajon Gym or
Health Club that will not only treat you right, but also help
you get into outstanding shape, then you should give us a
try.

Two historical names
keynote the early development of the modern
commercial municipality of El Cajon - The Big Box
Valley and The Corners. Its growth is directly
linked to its initial role as the agrarian
heartland and communications center of San Diego
County.
In the early part of the nineteenth century the
explorations of the mission padres for pasture
land led them to El Cajon Valley. The
surrounding foothills were a barrier to
straying cattle as well as a watershed to
gather the sparse rainfall for verdant
grasslands along the valley floor. For years
the pasture lands supported the cattle herds of
the mission and its native Indian converts.
With independence from Spain, the Spanish Dons
began to cast envious eyes on the vast holdings
of the Roman Catholic Missions. With
secularization, California Governor Pio Pico in
1845 confiscated the lands of Mission San Diego
de Alcala and granted the eleven square leagues
of El Cajon
Valley to Dona Maria Antonio Estudillo, wife of
Don Miguel de Pedrorena, to repay a $500
government obligation. The grant included
generally the present communities of Lakeside,
Santee, Bostonia, Glenview, Johnstown, El
Cajon, and part of
Grossmont.
